Who We Are

We’re a small, privately-run online Maca root retail outlet, that is dynamic and passionate about sharing high quality, and sometimes, rare peruvian-harvested Maca root products with the world. At Amazon Rainforest Essentials, we developed a niche-interest in Maca roots – Andean-Amazonian wellness and well-being ingredients, that are ethically sourced with sustainable, social and environmental stategies in place.

What began as a personal search for authentic nutrition that could support Angiogenesis, a biological and physiological process of forming new blood vessels from pre-existing ones, essential for oxygen delivery and wound healing in our bodies (to mention but a few), slowly grew into a passion and a mission to create a transparent, science-based Maca root resource that connects traditional Peruvian and Amazon Rainforest farmers with people who value purity, sustainability and Truth.
