1. Who we are

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website amazonrainessentials.com (the “Site”) and any purchase you make through it. The Site is operated by:

By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

2. Definitions

“We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Amazon Rainforest Essentials. “You” refers to the person using the Site or placing an order. “Products” refers to the Maca root powder, Camu Camu powder, and any other goods listed for sale on the Site.

3. Using the Site

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes, and not to misuse it in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it (including attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems).

4. Products, pricing, and availability

All prices on the Site are shown in British Pounds (£ GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We try to keep pricing and product information accurate, but errors can happen — if we discover a pricing or listing error on an order you’ve placed, we’ll contact you before processing it, and you can choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel.

Product availability isn’t guaranteed. If an item you’ve ordered becomes unavailable after you’ve paid, we’ll notify you and issue a full refund for that item.

5. Orders and contract formation

When you place an order, you’re making an offer to buy. We’ll send an order confirmation email, but this confirms we’ve received your order — it doesn’t mean we’ve accepted it. The contract between us is only formed when we dispatch your order (or, for digital confirmation purposes, when we send a dispatch confirmation email).

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example if we suspect fraud, if there’s a pricing error, or if we’re unable to fulfil it for stock reasons.

6. Payment

We accept payment by credit card, debit card, and PayPal, processed securely through Stripe and PayPal. We do not store your full card details on our servers. Payment is taken at the time of order.

7. Delivery

Delivery timeframes and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the Products passes to you once they’re delivered to the address you’ve provided.

8. Your right to cancel (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

If you’re a consumer buying from us in the UK, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your Products, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To cancel, contact us at support@amazonrainessentials.com within that window.

This is separate from — and in addition to — our own Refund and Returns Policy, which allows unopened, unused products in original packaging to be returned within 30 days. Where the two overlap, whichever gives you the stronger right applies. Note that, for hygiene reasons, opened food and supplement products may not be eligible for return unless faulty — this is standard practice for this product category and worth confirming explicitly in the Refund and Returns Policy if it isn’t already stated there.

9. Health and safety disclaimer

Statements on this website have not been evaluated by neither the FDA nor the MHRA. Products on this site are not intended to treat, prevent or cure any disease. Consult your doctor for health-related advice.

If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are taking medication, or have any concerns about hormone-sensitive conditions or thyroid health, speak to a healthcare professional before using our Products.

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, images, logos, and design — belongs to us or our licensors, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse it without our written permission.

11. Your account

If you create an account on the Site, you’re responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be excluded under UK law.

Subject to that, we won’t be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or Products. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

13. Data protection and privacy

We process your personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Full detail on what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights (access, correction, deletion, objection, and so on) is set out in our Privacy Policy — that document, not this one, is the authoritative source on data handling and should be kept current as your processors change.

A few things worth flagging for whoever finalises the Privacy Policy, since they affect this build directly:

  • Hostinger Reach processes email addresses collected through the newsletter signup — the Privacy Policy needs to name Hostinger Reach as a data processor, and confirm where it stores that data (EU/UK/US) for the international transfer section.
  • Stripe and PayPal process payment data as part of checkout — both should be named as processors too.
  • If the Site uses cookies (analytics, marketing pixels, etc.), a cookie consent banner compliant with PECR (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) is needed — a separate requirement from GDPR itself and easy to miss.

14. Governing law

Because Amazon Rainforest Essentials is registered in Glasgow, these Terms are most likely intended to be governed by the laws of Scotland, with Scottish courts having jurisdiction — but confirm this with a solicitor rather than assuming; if the business is structured or registered differently than the trading address suggests, England & Wales law might apply instead, and the wording needs to match the actual registration.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
