2. What personal data we collect

Payment confirmation from our payment processors (we do not see or store your full card details — see Section 4)

Confirmation status (we use double opt-in, so we also record the date you confirmed your subscription)

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

Process and fulfil your orders, including payment, delivery, and customer service

Our legal basis for these uses is: performance of a contract (processing your order), your consent (marketing emails, non-essential cookies), and our legitimate interests (site analytics, fraud prevention, responding to enquiries), in line with UK GDPR.

4. Payment processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe and PayPal. When you check out, your card or account details are entered directly with Stripe or PayPal — we do not store your full card details on our servers. We only receive confirmation that payment was successful, along with a transaction reference.

Stripe and PayPal are independent data controllers for the payment data they process. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle that information.

5. Newsletter and email marketing

Our newsletter is run through Hostinger Reach, our email marketing platform. When you sign up, we use double opt-in: you’ll receive a confirmation email, and we only add you to our list once you’ve clicked to confirm. This protects you from being signed up by mistake or by someone else using your email address.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use:

Essential cookies — required for the site and checkout to function (e.g. keeping items in your basket)
Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4, which helps us understand how visitors use the site, using anonymised or pseudonymised data where possible

7. Who we share your data with

We share personal data only with the third parties needed to run our business, including:

Stripe and PayPal — to process payments
Hostinger Reach — to send newsletter and marketing emails
Our website hosting provider — to store and serve site and order data

Delivery and courier partners — to fulfil and deliver your order

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on their standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

8. How long we keep your data

We keep order and transaction data for as long as needed to meet our accounting and tax obligations (typically 6 years). We keep newsletter subscriber data until you unsubscribe or request deletion. We keep contact enquiries for as long as needed to resolve them and delete or anonymise data when it’s no longer needed.

10. Children’s privacy

Our site and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and our products are not marketed to children.
